Morning sickness (natural remedies)

Nausea, vomiting and drowsiness early in the morning are common symptoms experienced during early pregnancy. Your nausea is caused by high levels of pregnancy hormones flooding your body. It’s very common. Up to nine out of 10 pregnant women experience nausea or vomiting in their first trimester (around the sixth to eight week).While medication will help ease some symptoms, there are also some natural remedies to calm and soothe yourself.

A teaspoon of ginger juice or you can try a cup of ginger Tea, that may help reduce uneasiness due to morning sickness.

Herbal Teas

There are also several herbal teas that are known to reduce nausea. Try sipping herbal teas made with camomile, lemon balm and peppermint. If you have heartburn, avoid peppermint tea.

Chewing fresh mint leaves can help you get rid of the nauseous feeling. The pungent peppermint flavor is quite refreshing and cooling.

Glass of Water

Drink a Glass of Water  every hour that will keep you hydrated. When your urine is clear, it means you are having enough water.

Coconut Water

Coconut water  has many health benefits,  can come in handy to tackle morning sickness.  Rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre Coconut  water , drink it every day  to settle your stomach.

Apple Cider Vinegar

A teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar mixed in a glass of water and had every morning may also help eliminate morning sickness.

Lemon Juice

Fresh lime juice with a little salt and sugar is an effective remedy for morning sickness.
